Justice for All
Thirty three years ago a baby was born to a coed.  The coed was not married.  Abortion was an option but she decided to bring this child into the world.  She also decided that the baby deserved a home with two parents and a stable environment.  She put  the child up for adoption.
That baby became our little girl.  I can not imagine Ayme not being born.  Yet under different circumstances she very well could have been the victim of abortion.
So you can see that the pro-life movement is very dear to Suzanne and I.  Our society is in a state of confusion as to how sacred life is.  If a pregnancy is wanted the one in the womb is considered a person.  If the pregnancy is unwanted it is considered a fetus or tissue.
Everyday 1000s die because they are inconvienient to the parent.  I know there are some medical situations where moral judgments must be made.  However, most abortions occur because the baby is just inconvienient to the mother.
Our heavenly Father has revealed to us that life is precious and sacred.  Many young ladies are fooled into thinking that what is growing inside of them is really not life.  The shame and guilt that follows many abortions leaves a second victim to abortion.
This week Justice for All will be on our campus.  I for one will be there to let my voice be heard.  This critical issue is this generations cause.  It is crucial.
When I was in school some of my friends went to Selma Alabama to march with a pastor named Rev. King.  I thought at the time what good is marching in the street going to do?  I was very busy also.  I look back and think, "Why didn't I drop everything and go and be a part of that great cause?"  The great opportunity for social change today is in the area of abortion.  It is a cause God would want you to be part of.  Drop everything and go to Broncho Lake this Monday and Tuesday.  Let your voice be hear.  A voice for life.
